PRINCIPAL’S ANNUAL REPORT

Presenting Annual report of Saranya Concept School, G. Vemavaram is a pleasant responsibility bestowed upon me with the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Sriranga Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji. Saranya Concept School is running with the same values without any deviation which our founder H.H. Swamiji visualized, from the time of its inception in the year 2011.The School is run under the aegis of Srimath Upanishad Siddhanta Acharya peetham and is affiliated to CBSE Board, New Delhi.It has classes from Nursery to XII with strength of 824 students during the Academic year 2025-26.

Saranya School is committed to conceptual learning and fosters individual talents. We encourage the children to channelize their potential in pursuit of excellence.  

Infrastructure The infrastructure of the school includes well-furnished class-rooms supported with seven IFP(Interactive Flat Panel) boards, six smart boards, Tab lab, Computer lab, Math, Science and Social labs, Auditorium, Separate library and playground facility for the Primary and the High school students, fully equipped kitchen and dining halls in a hygienic atmosphere with an uninterrupted supply of drinking water from the school’s RO plant, an adequate number of well-maintained toilets for boys and girls and a well-organized transport system with a fleet of buses travelling in different routes supervised by a committed team of supporting staff are a few highlights of the infrastructure.

School activities

School activities are age appropriate and well designed by a committee of teachers before the commencement of the Academic year and the schedule is circulated to the parents in advance. The activities are classified as daily activities, festival celebrations and inter house competitions.

Daily school activities begin with an assembly at 08.00 A.M and wrap up with National Anthem at 04.10 P.M. Assembly activities comprise of news, quiz, speeches, thought for the week, celebration of student’s birthdays etc. Opportunity is given to every class and section from class I-XII to organize the assembly.

Everyday games and OCT (Our Culture and Tradition) are special features of the school. Regular activities are arts & craft, music & dance, library and computer.

Celebration of National festivals, important days and religious festivals is also a part of school activities. To keep the competitive spirit alive among the students, inter house competition are conducted at regular intervals spread over the year.

To improve the academic performance of the students, subject enrichment activities are conducted and the teaching pedagogy is structured according to the learning styles of the students. IFP boards, Smart boards, tab labs, subject enrichment activities, hands on activities, and remedial classes help the students to bridge their learning gaps and strengthen their basic concepts.

The school’s mission statement is to strengthen the conceptual learning among the students from class I onwards and to improve their mathematical and communication skills. In order to achieve this, funfair was organized for Class I & II with the efforts of our correspondent Sriman K. Murali Krishna and with the keen interest of other members of management. Business fair conducted in January for class V enhanced learning of Mathematical concepts among the students. Apart from academics, numerous inter-house competitions were conducted like Math Quiz, Science and Math reasoning Ability test, Ad- Making, Young Entrepreneur competition, Singing, Dancing, Cookery, Puzzle activity for different levels ranging from kindergarten to class XII to enhance the skills & talents of the students.

Our students also exhibited their excellence in external competitions like Handwriting & colouring competition by  Mother Teresa foundation, Ramanuja Math Test conducted by Jana Vignana Vedika, greeting card contest by Avantika, “My water heritage” by INTACH, Chekumukhi talent test Kriya Competitions, Bhagavadgita Competitions etc. and secured many awards and rewards for the school. Learning at Saranya is a fun and assessments are stress free. There is no home work up to class II. The students’ understanding of concepts was assessed through activity method which was a successful experiment up to class II. Students of class VIII were also involved in this process as a part of developing their organizational skills and promoting their basic skills.

Faculty development Program

Saranya teachers are regularly undergoing several CBP training programs like “NEP 2020”, “Art Integration”, Strengthening Assessment and “Evaluation Practices” conducted by COE, CBSE- Kakinada.

School celebrated Children’s day and Republic day with pomp and ceremony. Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, from Kakinada blessed our Kindergarten children on their graduation day.

I conclude the report by thanking His Holiness Swamiji for giving me this opportunity to take part in His mission. I thank the members of Management for their constant encouragement. I thank my teaching, non-teaching staff and parents for rendering their co-operation throughout the year. I finally thank God for giving me good health during the year. I wish that the flag of Saranya Concept School will fly high in the years to come also.
